We are dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality, faith-integrated mental health support to individuals, couples, families, and ministry communities across Australia.

Standard Fee Structure

Our fees reflect our specialized dual training in professional counselling, integrated psychotherapy, and Christian faith-integrated therapy.

  • Individual Counselling (50 Mins) $140 AUD
  • Relationship & Marriage Counselling (60 Mins) $190 AUD
  • Church & Ministry Workshops / Groups Customized by arrangement

All sessions are conducted in a confidential, non-judgmental environment—available in-person or via secure online video conferencing nation-wide.

Funding Options & Rebate Policy

To ensure transparency regarding how your sessions are funded, please review the options below:

1. Direct Out-of-Pocket / Private Fee

Clients may pay directly via electronic bank transfer or mobile PayID at the time of booking.

Please Note: Bright Hope Australia operates as an independent Christian practice. Because Medicare rebates under the Mental Health Care Plan are restricted to AHPRA-registered Psychologists and Accredited Social Workers, Medicare rebates do not apply to our services. This allows us to offer direct, flexible care without referral delays or mandated session caps.

2. Private Health Insurance

Because private health funds mandate specific peak-body registration for rebates, private health insurance claims do not apply to our services. We intentionally set our direct session fees at an accessible, competitive rate to ensure quality Christian care remains within reach out-of-pocket.

Ministry & Subsidised Fee Support

We believe that financial hardship should never stand in the way of healing and freedom.

  • Church Sponsorship: If you are a member of a local church or ministry, ask your pastoral team if they partner with Bright Hope Australia to co-sponsor or subsidize counselling sessions.
  • Sliding Scale Options: A limited number of subsidised places are available each month for students, concession card holders, or individuals facing severe hardship. Please contact us directly to inquire about eligibility.
